Informer Med was responsible for the construction and overall coordination of this investment. The new surgical block was built on the third floor of a hospital wing completed in 2017. Covering an area of 1,000 m², it includes five modern operating rooms, allowing up to five surgeries to be performed simultaneously.

Each room is dedicated to a specific medical specialty: general surgery, pediatric surgery and traumatology, orthopedic surgery and musculoskeletal traumatology, gynecology, and ENT surgery. The support facilities also include a patient prep room and recovery rooms for both adults and children.

The project focused on innovative technologies and the highest safety standards. The newly built surgical block in Ostrów Wielkopolski is equipped with:

• a laminar airflow ventilation system with air filtration, ensuring the highest level of sterility,
• next-generation LED surgical lighting,
• touchless access to electronic medical records directly from the operating rooms,
• modern touchless door-opening and hand disinfection systems,
• a visual system for live procedure monitoring,
• walls finished with stainless steel and decorative panels to ensure durability and sterility,
• direct elevator access to the Central Sterilization Unit, improving surgical logistics and safety.
