We have completed a comprehensive modernization of the endoscopy unit at the L. Rydygier Provincial Specialist Hospital in Toruń. The space has been given a modern character — fully adapted to current legal and occupational safety standards, and equipped with the latest medical technology.

The new endoscopy unit is equipped with:

• 2 endoscopy systems with EUS capability and a full set of endoscopes
• 2 anesthesia machines
• 4 diathermy units with accessories
• 2 ultrasound systems
• 2 operating tables
• 4 endoscopy columns (including 2 with anesthesia connection)
• 4 endoscope washer-disinfectors
• 2 endoscope storage cabinets
• a modern endoscopy examination recording system

The result is four fully equipped endoscopy rooms, allowing for examinations and procedures for up to 80 patients per day. This modernization raises the quality of care, improves efficiency, and sets a new standard in endoscopic diagnostics at the regional level.
