At the end of December, we completed the modernization of the Central Sterile Services Department (CSSD) at the Mazovian Specialist Hospital in Radom. It is now one of the largest and most advanced hospital sterilization units in Poland, setting new benchmarks in healthcare safety through cutting-edge technologies and modern workflow organization.
The scope of the project included comprehensive construction work, full design documentation, and the procurement and installation of state-of-the-art equipment. The modernization was carried out from July to November 2024, with a total value of PLN 13 million, fully financed by the Mazovian Voivodeship government.
“There are so many different pathogens today that the technology used here must be the most modern and effective available. We should view this investment in terms of the long-term savings it may bring by preventing hospital-acquired infections and complications – which are far more costly, especially for our patients.”
Adam Struzik, Marshal of the Mazovian Voivodeship
